powerball....I am sorry that you don't find this interesting, but those who know me like the family updates. Sometimes I have inspirational clips and such, if you read back a little further, maybe you will find what you are looking for. There will be more things like that to come.

Yay! You're back! Enjoyed the family updates. What's with these "lotto" comments? Guess there's always a few people with miniscule minds lurking about trying to make themselves feel superior by taking jabs at others. If they can't relate then they shouldn't be reading your blog. Duh. Just because they can't relate doesn't mean nobody can. Glad you're back and I'm looking forward to seeing photos from camp!

Unexpected!!!

What a great day! It started out so rocky that I knew that Satan was busy at work trying to thwart the good that was about to happen. I offer to take any of the men and women in our transition/shelter to church every Sunday. Anyone who wants to go, I will pick up that morning. I had a gentlemen who just got out of prison and said that he would not ever go to church. He has been a member of the white supremacy group before he went to prison and he wanted nothing to do with church. I told him that I offer it up to everyone and there's no pressure, but if he wanted to go, he was welcome. As we were driving down the road, he said "Hey, about that church thing, I think I'll go, if it's still ok." I was grinning from ear to ear on the inside. FLAME

I am taking classes in the Wesleyan church for ordination. Most of the classes I take at FLAME (Fellowship of Leaders Aquiring Ministerial Education) Basically, I do a bunch of pre-work, go to school for a week and then have post work. It has been a great experience, despite how much studying I do. (Brian wonders if I am ever coming out of the den again) I recently went to North Carolina to study Wesleyan History and Discipline and also an Evangelism class. I have some amazing stories to tell. God was soo good. It's amazing what 40 minutes of quiet before the Lord can do for you! I get so busy talking to God and telling Him everything that I don't let Him get a word in edgewise....how sad. God suprised us all by some of the events that took place in our evangelism experience!
